i thought he only had two...anyway he quit drinking after the last one and is  now straight edge

He had one in some hick town in Idaho back in 2002 and then he got 2 more within 5 months of each other in 2006 in Leawood, KS.

He has quit drinking though, so you're right about that.

i didnt see that but i saw a nfl network show i think that talked about how he was out of strikes and he quit drinking cold turkey and went on some crazy diet to make himself better

Allen would be pretty sick on this defensive line, the only problem then would be depth at DT.  I would think Lito and a 2nd is better than a 1st and a 3rd from Minnesota.  I wouldn't give up much more than that.

Another thing is that I think that if the Eagles were able to land Allen, it would definately soften the blow of giving up Lito in the trade because the pass rush would be so tremendously improved that the Eagles wouldn't miss his presence as much in the defensive backfield.

pretty sure giving samuel 7 trillion dollars was to off set the loss of lito in the secondary

Right now the Eagles are 3 deep at corner.  So even though Lito might not get as much playing time, if he's traded that's still a big loss to the 2ndary.

Best way to make up for a lack of depth at corner is with a tenacious pass rush.

i agree if you thought it was a possiblity that they were ever going to keep lito and samuel

i didnt

Lito and a 2nd is not better than a 1st and a 3rd from Minnesota.  It's really not even close.  The Eagles have literally zero shot of trading Lito at equal value to a 1st rounder.  If you want to assign him points from the draft chart, look closer at the mid-late 2nd.  That's it.

An All-Pro cornerback and a 2nd rounder is definately better than a 1st and a 3rd.

Especially when you're the Chiefs and could use some major help in the secondary.

but a former all pro corner who cant stay healthy and wants a new contract being traded by a team that has no leverage might not be worth a 1st and 3rd

You guys seriously have delusions about Lito's trade value.  Everyone knows the Eagles are going to trade him, no matter how much they try to play the "we might keep him" card.  Additionally, he wants a new contract, and he's got a fairly extensive injury history.

I like the Samuel signing as much as anybody, but it cements Lito's trade value firmly out of the first round.

Quick - There Will Be News On Roy Williams
Written by Garry Cobb

Mike Quick who is the analyst for the Eagles games with Merrill Reese says there will be news about Roy Williams before the week is out.

Mike Quick says he thinks the Birds are going to make a major move at the wide receiver position.  He talked about Roy Williams and the potential that the Eagles will make a deal to acquire a wide receiver.  He says there will be news on Roy Williams before the week is out.

That means the Cowboys, taterskins or the Eagles will probably wind up with the receiver before the week is out.

Mike just finished doing a live interview in a webcast with G. Cobb and Steve Martorano from Infiniti of Westchester and he says the Birds will try to do something this week.  They're in a bidding a war right now.,

When asked about the Birds fear of being upstaged by the Phillies, Flyers and Sixers, Mike said he believes the Eagles are going to do something this weekend to take back all the attention.

before the week is out?

If you consider Sunday the last day of the weekend, then it would be the last day of the week.  Even if not, Saturday is day 1 of the draft.

So, he's saying Williams will move by the end of the draft.
