The fact that he refers to himself as a "great one" is reason enough to pass on him.

Dolphins = Just got rid of Chris Chambers and could use a WR to replace him.  Also have parts of an aging D that Cincy would be dumb enough to jump at.

taterskins = You don't really need me to explain do you?

I doubt Chad Johnson has thought about why the Dolphins could use him .... it's more likely that since he is from Miami originally, that he would want to play in his home town.

Because he wants to join the DTC, right?

"what great one doesn't? Find me a great one that doesn't do the same things I've done and I'll stop playing. Period."
Uhhh, Jerry Rice?
Every great player before 1970 or so?

Munson

But 95% of those players aren't really great, by IGY's standards.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

ice grillin you

they were great for their time but dont compare to todays players...altho im more talking about 1950's and before...the 60's had their fair share of players that could transcend any era...jim brown says

its also complete horseshtein to throw the 1970's thing out there...as if tons of great players since then have been horrible locker room guys and everyone prior to 1970 were angels

99% of great players in any era are not problems
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Brian Westbrook. Think CJ would kneel down at the goal line in order to let the clock run out and give his team the best chance to win?

I don't think so.....

mussa

christ who gives a farg. if we had a god damn coach who realized what clock management is the freaking players wouldn't have to down the ball on the 1. thank god runyan has half a brain

WTF are you talking about? I was just pointing out that Bwest is a great player who isn't a problem and would do just about anything to give his team a chance to win, while I guarantee you CJ wouldn't be kneeling at the goal line, and is a problem.

Dillen

If Westbrook scored, it would have been 17-6. Even though it was a nice idea/gesture by Westbrook, frankly I don't give a shtein he did it. If he didn't do it nobody would ever think about it, and if the Eagles did manage to somehow blow a 17-6 lead with 2 minutes left then Westbrook should be traded to another team.

If CJ were on the Eagles, the ball was still getting handed off to Westbrook anyway in that situation so it's irrelevant.
