in 08 he is saying the team could use playmakers.

sounds similar but of course everything has changed now since the eagles have not made the playoffs and are no longer the top team in the NFC East.

i wouldnt even discount that the team goes out and does some of what mcnabb is suggesting...its just interesting to see how things have changed since 04 in terms of the team and mcnabbs relationship

Yep.  And you also have to look at the way he said it.  There's no way that this statement could be taken in the "whiney" fashion that a lot of his other statement/comments are taken.  It's a legitmate complaint without sounding complacent.

Then you need to listen more on the internet instead of assuming, because its obvious your not an every day listener.

There have been numerous times, ESPECIALLY the Monday after a game where he bitches that the offense "just isnt good enough" over and over. Its obvious what hes talking about. You dont have to be Columbo to read between the lines. He's just slick about it. He has come out plenty of times to his audience and said their needs to be changes, but doesnt think there will be any..blah blah. He just wont harp on it for the reasons you stated above.

Now when the QB of the team expresses concern, he bitches...thats hypocritical and sucking Eagles bird
