it was a pathetic ceremony

they showed a highlight package while they got him off the field, so he couldn't even get one last ovation....awesome

Yeah I didn't see it but it looks like it was half-assed.

SunMo

it really was...starting with the fact they waited until Thursday to announce it.

i'm not asking for a huge deal or anything, but they couldn't wait to get Duce off the field so they could run their stupid promotional contest.  it was sorry.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Anything to suck the hogs of the corporate sponsors, I guess.

I mean, who just couldn't WAIT to see some schmoe from Turkey Hill get a promotional jersey from Harold Carmichael, who when he does those things looks like he wants to stab the douchebag in the eye with a pencil.

I reached a new emotional low about this team today.  It's almost apathy, but since I'm really pissed off about feeling that way, it's probably not quite.

The detached unemotional leadership in the front office of this team eats ass.  The lack of talent is pathetic.  The field doesn't even hold together.

yea it was a really zesty ceremony. nice to see duce again, but damn did bbitch put on the pounds
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I have to say I'm not the least bit surprised they did a half-ass job with Duce's ceremony.   This team sinks to new lows in terms of shabby treatment of ex-players by the year.

I liked what they did for Reggie in 2005, but still, a little something more from them for Duce would have been nice.

Whatever, though.

I think that's kind of funny that they gave Reggie such a nice ceremony but not Duce.  You know, since Duce was a major factor in turning this franchise around and helping the current regime make all that extra money.

I'm glad that he got to retire as an Eagle but sorry that it sounds like the ceremony was rushed.  Always loved #22.

If we kept everyone we kicked out but came back to retire as an Eagle, how many Superbowls would we have in our trophy case?
