Right. They traded three draft picks and got two starting caliber WRs. Will another team be able to pull that shtein off? Probably not, but the precedent is there. shtein, if the Eagles traded 3 picks for ONE top-end WR who came in and made a difference on offense I'd about shtein myself with glee and they'd still have 9 draft picks left to farg up.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Kevin Curtis cost nothing pick-wise and is a very similar, if not superior, player to Welker.

Curtis also has Reggie Brown and Jason Avant keeping opposing defenses honest, instead of Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth.

The Patriots wouldn't draft McFadden.

And I would love the Giants to draft Justin King, because he sucks.

lollerskates

when is the last time Kevin Curtis returned a punt?
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

PoopyfaceMcGee

He can't.  He's too important to the offense.

ice grillin you

seriously could you suckle curtis anymore....no one was even talking about curtis vs welker and you felt you had to proclaim curtis' superiority bwtn the two

I'm just saying - you don't HAVE to trade away draft picks to get good players, if you're willing to pay for them.

Plus, occasionally your harsh anti-Eagle vibe should be contained with some perspective.

...and you brought up Welker, who cost a 2nd round pick (with a 7th rounder thrown in).  So, that also has nothing to do with the discussion of trading 2nd day picks for players...

dook.

ice grillin you

wow youre slow

i brought up the case of welker because he cost a 2nd and a 7th and isnt a great wr...meaning what kind of wr do you think you will get for a second day pick

PoopyfaceMcGee

You're slower.  The answer is "Randy Moss".

ice grillin you

so randy moss is the kind of receiver you get for second day draft picks?

or randy moss is an exception to the rule and a special case...seeing as tho he cost less to acquire than wes welker did
