i love the front offices spin on kearses knee....that we fans dont realize how bad the injury is...thats fine...but if that is indeed the case then why did you continue to start him thru the first ten weeks of the season

sounded like a  setup to keep him.

probably...he counts for something like 4-5 million in dead money if cut before next season

Possibly, but he counts for how much actual salary if they keep him...?  $8 million?  Considering his lack of production, a $3-4 million savings to tear off the band aid and kick him to the curb is a small price to pay.

Kearse is gone. He's completely useless. Even when spelled a crazy amount, he's almost listless. The Birds will cut him. This makes me happy. What sucks is that they will use his few million in dead money as one of the excuses for why they don't bring any "big name" guys in.

hes 8.5 in actual salary next year....im not saying they wont cut him but banner really hates dead money almost to the point of it being an obsession...id be mildy surprised if they cut him next year but certainly not shocked

andy presser...

--game plan wont and doesnt change regardless of who the qb is

--donovan had no swelling in the locker room after the injury....thats why he came back out to the field

--says the eagles have been on the other end of this weeks game where they were considered the best team football

--field condition was not a factor in donovan not coming back in..."field is in fine condition"

not one single question re: the play calling when feely came in vs when donovan was in...weak

ha, painted dirt = fine

it's a joke that a NFL team plays on that field

I was at the press conference. Didn't ask any questions. Andy is...yea.

Spadaro sits in his own table to the left of the reporters with his girly headphones over an eagles hat. Good thing he didn't ask any questions, the man is not a media member.
Eskin was off to the side talking to Butch when I walked in, then stood on the right side with the team employees during the press conference. Breaking news there.
Les Bowen is the bossman. Yup.
There was no food. iceholes.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It's also a joke they let Temple play there

he usually does ask questions, that's why it's such a joke, he is obviously not a media memeber

i wasnt allowed to ask questions since i wasnt writing anything. i wasnt even allowed to go the lockeroom. the eagles are real stingy on these things, and im just a silly little intern.
