looked good but you can tell he's not his old self.  he still has the torque if you will and the shedding and sliding around in the pocket, he just doesn't have that burst of acceleration he used to.  the thing that i think is the most troubling is his throwing.  instead of getting his feet under him, it's a lot of balls that his patented worm burners or in the 3rd row, like what he used to do a lot more when he was only throwing with his arm.  naturally i guess i'm just hoping that and when he gets his acl 90-100% right, he'll be back to form.

mcnabb was absolutely horrible this game....he had the biggest ghost numbers ive ever seen....can he throw an accurate pass other than a 6 yard out in the flat

I counted at least 2 times McNabb threw easy picks that were flat out dropped by the Skins. No idea how he badly misses guys that are wide open then threads the needle like he did on the LJ TD and on the 3rd and 21 to Avant. His numbers were greatly helped due to Westbrooks screen and Browns catch.

the reggie catch was he started out doubled w/ a lb (fletcher?) and their backup fs #20 priloleau (sp) (bc i made a comment bc sean taylor left the game and put him in).  everyone was kinda stride for stride, lb falls down, i'm not even sure if reggie had a step or 1/2 a step but he had to turn 90 degrees backwards to catch it spinning to his left (where the skins guy couldn't get it) then continue to spin another 90 to go for the td as the skins safety kinda tried to defend the pass and slipped off him.

it was like a off-shoulder (bomb) catch behind the wr, but not planned.

...or WAS it?!?  ;)

QB Eagles

The ball placement on that Brown catch was about as planned as Travis Henry's kids.

speaking of placement i know the chic thing to do this week is make will james james thrash jokes but the second big catch he had was an unreal throw...there isnt a corner in the league that could have stopped that...gloves are off tho on the stop and go...james got pissed on there....but in the end lets not make more of thrash than is needed

thrash has always been a problem for the eagles. whether he is playing for them or against them.

Did the FargSkins let them score that last touchdown on purpose?
It would have been a smart move, but they looked so disorganized and dispirited that I can't belive they would have been together enough to call that.

They defensive players were still sort of milling around, and two people in the secondary ran into each other on the way to Westbrook, so i think it was just incompetence.
Which makes me happy.

no doubt.  brought back memories of the Packers letting Terrell Davis score in the Super Bowl in 1998.  Back fired on the Pack too!

just saw the replay on espn and there is absolutley no doubt they let westy walk in.  watch the linebackers and safetys.  they just stood there.  they didn't need to waste our time and tell us they let him score.

would not have four straight kneel downs have still sealed it for the birds?  Washington had no TO's.  2:24 left.

You need to be inside 2:00 to run the clock out (40 seconds per play)

Every scoring drive (except the last) by the Eagles had a penalty by the Skins.  5 penalites for Eagles first downs.  This win was a gift - the offense still sucks.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I was a little curious as to why the Fat man didn't go for a 2 in that situation making it a 9 pt./2 possession lead rather than an automatic 8 pt./1 possession lead.

I'll take the Phins with that spread. 5 of their losses were by 3 pts. or less, plus the Eagles will find some way to farg it up.
