Yeah, good point.  McNabb is not making a lot of errant throws or bad decisions at all.

He's not on top of his game but it's more than obvious that he's still not anywhere near 100% from him knee injury and the coaching staff is not doing anything to adjust the game plan to help compensate for that.  Instead, they keep exposing it.

Buckhalter says Dallas didn't do anything special...the Eagles just don't have a way to keep the offense on the field.....says Reid's issues have nothing to do with it....says the team has no personality or character anymore.  Tra wouldn't agree 100% but says the locker room is definitely different now...

Couldn't agree more.  Reid's no more incompetant now than he was before his kids turned into farg ups.

How is that not a reflection on the coach?

It is a reflection on him.  It means that Reid has already achieved a supreme level of idiocy and regardless of the circumstances and distractions surrounding him, he's not going to get any dumber.  He's the Terry Shaivo of coaching.  Somebody pull the farging plug already.

probably cause the injury is causing him to be too slow on his 5 step drop back, thus exposing him even more

Somehow you find a way to give Reid credit, as if he adjusted that to allow McNabb to perform better. Not quite Reid's MO.

You have a future here.

We have a running game, and it's been mostly effective and completely underutilized.  We have pure liquid shtein for receivers and TE.  Westbrook and Cole form the core, maybe salvage a half dozen or so more from the heap.  Cut the rest, get a new coach, and let him rebuild.  Hopefully, it won't be a clusterfarg.

Of course, this is Philly......
Anyone but Reid.

Rebuilding would absolutely be a clusterfarg. Always is. The truth is that I don't even really feel like I can tell if this team has any sort of foundation to build quickly on. They have players that are completely mis-used on both sides of the ball. Young players. How can anyone tell if Chris Gocong is any good when he's playing a position that he just learned a minute ago? This farging team...
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

True.  But if you rebuild, you need to start with the coach.  So the question is who?

The one thing I do know, if it comes to rebuilding, everyone over 30 out of the pool.

That means some of the heroes of years past:  McNabb, Dawk, Runyan, Tra.  They need to figure out if Kolb is the answer or not.  Maybe not this week, but soon.
Anyone but Reid.

Diomedes

Runyan and Dawk stay as long as they want.

Why? You can make an argument for each based on attitude alone. And you can argue for Dawkins based on tenure, but by definition rebuilding means you let go of the edifices of the past.

Runyan won't be able to walk in five years and he isn't out there spearing people after the play anymore to give the OL that dirty-play mentality. Dawkins still brings it on occasion, but his body is breaking down. Flexing and screaming and somersaulting onto the field doesn't inspire the young'uns if he's on the sideline all the time.

You're talking about two of my favorite Eagles, but if this team rebuilds, they need to be let go.

I would in fact argue on attitude first, then on tenure.  Then on the combination of the two as the thread you want to wind into the next crew by keeping them on.

That would be my argument.

If I cared to argue about it.

Then make them coaches.  But if you're rebuilding, they stop playing.  Period.
Much as it galls me to say it.  Those two deserve a ring, and fat-ass farged it up for them.  His biggest failure.
Anyone but Reid.
