im disagreeing that the reason they didnt honor iverson was because of him being a bad guy or any kind of off the court issues

and also making a general statement cause to be honest im not sure what you were trying to say

speaking of bonkers...sixers/magic tonight...playoff preview

false. sixers will climb to the 5 seed and get lebron in rd. 1. this team is basically unbeatable these days and cannot be stopped.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

id much rather have the magic...no chance stern lets lebron go out in round one and the magic have a point guard and a center that have never won a playoff series...

what the hell does stern care if lebron goes out in rd 1? There are plenty of stories this year in the NBA that make it worth watching other than Lebron James

DH

Anyone going to the game tomorrow night?

lebron is the nba now and for the next 15 years.....hes jordan part II...he just became the third male in the history of the world to make the cover of vogue...he isnt going out in round one...its just not gonna happen...you must not have watched the playoffs last year

haha. He can be Obama's running mate for all I care.

Stern has no bearing what-so-ever on an outcome. If someone comes in and knocks the Cavaliers out of the first rd, the NBA will not suffer one bit. Your making it look like the NBA will be in a freefall if Lebron James gets ousted in the 1st rd of a playoff game

There are too many good things going on in the West that make up for a missing LJ. You must not have been watching the NBA this year

im not making it look like anything...im telling you the cavs arent losing in the first round no matter what and because of that the sixers dont wanna see them...i dont know how many other ways i can tell you

Maybe not because of his off court issues but I think that the way everything went down that led to him being traded definitely had something to do with the Sixers not doing anything for him when he came back.

Snyder said that there will be plenty of time for accolades after he (Iverson) retires.  But at the same time, Snyder presented Roenick with a Tiffany crystal in a pregame ceremony recently.

Snyder presides over both teams and there's no way you can tell me that Roenick was a bigger impact to the Flyers than Iverson was to the Sixers.  And there's no way that you can tell me that Roenick was a bigger overall impact in Philly.

I thought it was rediculously hypocritical for Snyder to have a pregame ceremony for Roenick and not Iverson and I'm certain that it was because of the way that Iverson's career in Philly ended.

Quoteand also making a general statement cause to be honest im not sure what you were trying to say

Make sense now?

ice grillin you

i understand it but it doesnt make sense

the reason they did something for roenick is because that was the last time hell ever be in philly...iverson will be back to get his number retired after his playing days are over and it will be astronomically bigger than what they did for jeremy...this isnt hard to figure out

the hard part to figure out is why did they do anything for roenick at all

How about now?  How many times do the Magic have to assrape the Sixers before you get it into your head that the Sixers don't match up well with them?
