you can get 3 pt guys that do nothing else anywhere...they need a shooter that can start and play real minutes without hurting you...if later on you wanna add a guy to come off the bench and shoot threes they can do that...if they could get a rip hamilton type and a pf they could make some noise in the east in the next couple seasons

obviously the pf is going to be the big problem...if Elton Brand can come back this year and show something, he would be ideal, but who knows

Josh Smith is a possibility but he's restricted

Quote"Josh changes the game with his blocked shots," said 76ers coach Maurice Cheeks. "When a guy has nine blocked shots it changes the game dramatically. Even when he doesn't block a shot he has guys thinking about it when they shoot, and that can mess up your offensive rhythm."

The more I watch Thad play the more I want Iggy gone

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

He's not going to get any better than he is now and he's not worth the money he wants. Thad is bigger, younger, and will be better. Why stick with Iggy, if he has trade value - which he does - send him on his way and get some value for him.

you do know hes pretty damn good right now tho...right?....and you may not think hes gonna get better but to say he cant get better is crazy...he just turned 24...thats far from your prime in the nba...not to mention all players get better on better teams...he would be a much better player with improved players around him that would allow him to play a more true three man and not have to do as much with the ball...one thing he rarely does and would be great at is posting up...but because hes the focal point of the team and the sixers have no low post presence he doesnt get to do it as much as he should

all that said it is a decision they have to make as far as resigning him...imo you have to wait until this summer and see what kind of money he is offered before you say you want him automatically gone...the guy is one of the better all around young players in the league right now

Michael. Beasley.

Beasley is a friggin stud.  Very versatile player who can be a monster down low and still step out and hit from the perimeter and beyong the arc.  Wouldn't want him jacking up NBA 3's but would still love having a player of his size who can hit shots from 18' out.

you would take the best college player in the country?  weird.

I love the potential this team has.  I'd love it even more if they'd lose more games this year.
