Stop with the trading Iggy thing. Seriously.

I have no problem building a team around him. I think he's awesome and would be even better with somewhat of a supporting cast.

you cant build a team around him...hes not that kind of player...in fact imo its the exact opposite as he would be the perfect guy to play next to a superstar...in fact he reminds me a lot of scotie pippen...lock down the opponents wing scorer and finish at the rim on the other end...

iguodala is not close to the passer that pippen was tho and as far as being the number one option on a team he doesnt have near the handle to be able to pull that off

what would help him tremendously would be to play with a full court up and down point guard that he could run with fill lanes and finish....thats where he would ansolutely flourish....him and andre miller are the basketball oil and water

SunMo

he's not close to what pippen was defensively either...other than that, the comparison is spot on
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

rjs246

So other than the fact that he can't pass or play defense HE'S JUST LIKE SCOTTIE PIPPEN! Oh my god!
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

ice grillin you

they are both great defenders on par with each other...pippen had the luxury of playin on an unbelievable defensive team

there will never be another team like the bulls where they had the best player in the league (and ever) who was also the best defensive player in the league...so not only could they surround him with defensive players but he was better than them all...imagine the 01 sixers with iverson being the best one on one defender in the nba...i mean jesus the bulls used ron harper as a defensive stopper and could dedicate the 4 and 5 positions as 100% rebound and defend spots..

those teams flawlessly switched and helped like no other team ive ever seen...not taking away anything from pippen but he was certainly made better by that situation...imo in the right situation iguodala could be every bit the defender pippin was

There's an article in the new ESPN magazine about Iguodala. It is pretty much the most useless article of all time. The only thing I didn't know was that he bowls with Louis Williams and Herb Hill.

He's more athletic than Pippen but doesn't possess Pippen's intangibles. He's a good player that will sign a contract for far more than he's worth. I'd rather get value for him, trade Miller too, tank, get a top 5 pick, then add someone in free agency.

ice grillin you

you cant say hes not that good then say another team will give value for him...those two things are in contrast with each other...

especially with him becoming a free agent....that lowers his value even more

He's a good player

I'd like to see him and Miller packaged. A creative GM could get good value for them.

ice grillin you

then ill ask why would you wanna deal a good player...a number one pick that this team developed...they arent exactly stocked with talent why would you wanna deal their second best player (i know this place is dalembert hater central but admit it or not hes the best player on the team and hes actually the one that you would get good value on)

i don't see the dalembert thing at all.  i guess somebody has to be the best player on this team, but i really don't see what you see.

ice grillin you

a lot of it has to do with his position...granted hes not a great player but hes still one of the best centers in the nba and doesnt make obscene money...on the open market he would def garner more interest than iguodala...and i like both

I don't think he's going to get much better. As for Dalembart I'm fine with him for now, once he gets some help he'll be that much better.

Bad win tonight
