jesus has an unfair advantage because the point of the ball settles nicely right in the hole in his palm
They also make masterbating that much more fun

The BIGSTUD

Takeo and Gaither are playing at a pro bowl level right now. The linebackers are ther strength of the defense right now. Funny saying that after last season.

The d-line has been good, but not on a whole. Bunkley, Patterson, and Cole have been good. Kearse has been garbage, Howard... is he still on the team? Juqua makes a play here or there.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

A garbage team beats another garbage team in a game that no one outside of Philly or Minnesota gave a farg about.

And one other thing: The comment above might be the single dumbest thing I've ever seen written here.  You take being a clown to staggering new heights, dude.  Seriously.

Frankly, IGY, your over-criticism of all non-black players on the team is wearing thin.

Curtis is a solid player and I contend the team is no worse off than if they'd re-signed Stallworth.  They're actually more similar players than you give Curtis credit for.

Gocong is nothing special, but he's no worse than Dhani.

This team has talent issues and surely could do better at many positions, including the two above mentioned.  But neither of those guys are playing so badly that they should draw anyone's ire.

Anyway, Reid didn't abandon the run, even though nothing big was breaking off.  What an icehole.

MadMarchHare

He didn't technically abandon the run any more than usual......(23:41)
Anyone but Reid.

Exactly.  Considering the Vikings D is much better against the run, I expected at least 80% passes.

Yep... If there was ever a game to say "farg it" to the running game... this was it.

Overall, I think Reid called a pretty solid game.  One surprising thing was at the end of the game after the Eagles forced a punt... Andy called no pass plays.

There were people in the bar I was at screaming for play-action and screen passes and all that other shtein.  Made me sick... and I explained that Andy has no business calling anything other than 3 runs with Westbrook.  That last posession wasn't about getting yardage... it was about milking clock, making the Vikings use their last timeout and then giving them the ball having to drive the length of the field.  If Westbrook happened to break one for 1st down yardage... that'd simply be a bonus.

Thank God that Andy was thinking sensibly at the moment because that's exactly what he did.  Rocca's punt was a thing of beauty, btw and he delivered at that point just as he was needed to.

the team may be no worse off, but Stallworth is a much better player than Curtis

The amount of time Curtis is actually healthy and playing at 100% ups his average.

I guarantee that if Curtis is in New England and Stallworth were in Philly, Curtis would have all kinds of sickening numbers... and Stallworth would be benched with a sore vagina.

SunMo

yeah, but the Patriots had the choice of the two, and they picked Stallworth

Exactly.  Stallworth is more talented overall, but you can't rely on him from week to week.  Curtis has been rock solid and dependable.  I think he's been one of the few bright spots of the year, actually.

No, they picked Stallworth AND Moss AND Welker.  Stallworth plays for them, they're in good shape.  If he comes up lame...they're still in good shape.  Stallworth would have essentially been the only game in town here.
