Not yet, white wonder.  Yes, they look like shtein, but as we saw last season just about anything can happen in a matter of 6 weeks or so.

BTW - I need your address for $20.  PM me.

That was with Jeffy at Qb though, Mcnabb hasn't exactly won many games in his last 10 starts.

The point was, my flexing master drunk friend, was that anything is possible and you just don't know what's going to happen.

shtein can happen.  Of course, it may not too.  But my eternally optimistic self will believe that it will.

Yep.  No Super Bowl = why bother?

(I'm seriously agreeing and not being sarcastic.)

I am dead serious when I say that I don't want Andy Reid to have a top five pick. Is there anything more certain than Andy Reid farging it up and the team ending up with a top-five-pick-salary and a useless rotational player?

Offensive lineman, anyone?

PoopyfaceMcGee

I think the goal here is an all-out tank, an Andy Reid departure, and THEN a top-5 pick.

rjs246

Top five pick without Andy Reid would be a more than acceptable outcome.

Does Lurie actually have the stones to fire Reid this season?

Cerevant

Say what you will, but McNabb was the only top-5 pick he's had so far, and he seems to have turned out OK.  Wasn't Corey Simon a 6 or 8?  Not perfect, but not exactly a bust.  I would think it is harder to make a good pick in the 10-20 range than either of the other two thirds.

No, of course not.  Reid will not be fired before you can get season tickets for face value.  Our only hope is for Reid to resign.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

rjs246

No. But the option of resignation HAS to become more and more realistic as the season falls apart.

Cerevant. McNabb turned out to be great, but picking a franchise quarterback with a top five pick is a whole different ball of wax than what this team would be picking this year. Can you really see Reid successfully selecting a WR or LB or Safety or any defensive position that would perform at a high level and justify the pick? Top 10 picks are just as likely to bust as other first rounders and they cost a lot more money.

And Andy didn't draft Simon.
