Only watched an episode or two of Homicide, didn't think it measured up to the Wire. I mean, nothing really does but I wouldn't even rank it ahead of Generation Kill which I thought was half decent. I don't expect anything else he does to measure up to the Wire but at least have success with another project.

well duh......if jesus himself came down to earth and made a television show specifically for america it wouldnt compare to the wire

as for treme its not going to appeal to super hero fans...but trust me its good tv...certainly better than walking dead or the batman chronicles

Although I've never seen the show, I have read enough about it, and talked to enough people who have seen it, to know that Treme does not suck.

Therefore, I don't ever have to watch it myself, and anyone who disagrees with me is by definition an ignoramus.
