This FO was obviously unprepared for the curveball that NE and CAR threw at them.

They were in the "war room" scrambling for 10 picks and this is the shtein they came up with.

Stated differently, there is a very good chance the Eagles think that Donovan will not finish out his contract in Philly.

So, he was a 4 year player? He's going to be 23 this year. In 3 years time, he'll be 26 before he probably gets an opportunity to start. Just doesn't make much sense right now. None at all. Maybe a QB next year. More definitely one after that. But right now -- stunning.

Played in the Senior Bowl and looked pretty comfortable running an NFL offense down there. Adjusted better than Chris Leak or Troy Smith. Showed a good pocket presence. Made good reads. Also looked good at his Pro Day. Reminds me of Kellen Clemens from last year's draft class.

SUMMARY

I like Kevin a lot. I think he's the #3 QB and a 2nd Rd player. I see him as a starting NFL QB.

ge99's scouting report, which is generally much better than the other garbage out there.

Kolb is on a conference call on Eagles Live and he said even HE had no idea he'd go this early.

Thats wonderful he'll be an NFL starting qb. But we already have one.

Or did have one. Something is going on. McNabb might be gone before we even expect it.

It's not who they picked, but where and most importantly, WHY (or the lack there of). It just makes no God damn sense.

It seems to me that they have no intention of winning anything this year.

They are rebuilding. They have to be.

I don't know who they have targetted for the rest of this day but nobody they draft fro this point forward will be any help to them this year unless they get some kind of special teams demon or something.

Maybe if they take a RB...I...
