I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

We would have booed the shtein out of Jordan for not winning that 7th ring. Loser.

article says that they almost traded for the 3rd pick...not that they would have taken jordan

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

probably better off not having to live with being "the other team" to pass on jordan.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

It was either Jordan or Sam Perkins, IGY, unless they had their eye on Sam Bowie.  Knowing the Sixers...   :paranoid :-D

Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

which means the 2nd-round pick for the Sixers is #39

At this point I would just try to trade the picks in some combination for a disgruntled big man if there are any takers. Jermaine O'Neal and Pau Gasol both want out. Maybe the 12, 21, and a player could get one of those players. Not Pau Gasol's biggest fan though.

I think we desperately need a big man and I don't see a guy worth taking that can play the 4 or 5 for us at 12. There will probably be a lot of 6'7 6'8 guys available.

I'd be thrilled with either O'neal or Gasol, but I doubt the Pacers would trade us O'Neal. Gasol is a good player, know he's been wanting out for a while but that always seems like a rumor.
