...and since Petrino was his coach the last few years, it seems like a fit.

You like Arthur Blank?  You liked that flag Jim Mora, Jr.?

Good God, man.

Mora coached his offense the way I wish Andy coached the Eagles'.

How many playoff wins did all that unbalanced offensive play-calling get the Falcons?

His running and running and refusing to incorporate a legitimate passing game into his offensive scheme is exactly what you're decrying Reid for with the focus on passing with the Eagles.

And didn't even get them as far as Reid has gotten the Eagles.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

What is your point exactly? Are you trying to convince me to dislike run-first play-calling coaches? Good luck there, chuckles.

It's not like he had Dan Marino. He used what players he had perfectly. If you think the Falcons would have been best served letting Vick air it out 25 or 30 times a game rather then run Dunn, Duckett and Vick 40 times a game, well...

ice grillin you

the falcons problem in the passing game (other than the obviousness of vick not being a very good passer) is that they whiffed on all their wr draft picks...it wasnt like they didnt try to upgrade it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I still think the jury is out of the whiff part, sure, there aren't any "waiting to burst out superstars" in Jenkins, White, or anyone else they have at WR, but they could be solid serviceable guys given the oppurtunity to play with a QB who actually plays like a QB and not a RB with an arm.

I'm trying to convince you to commit suicide.

It's all subliminal, though.
