Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

And one of the best parts is that you can say that LoDuca's PMS-ing about the called third strike helped the Phils win.  Maybe he catches the Ruiz pop-up that a cold DeFelice fumbled.

I hope all of the dogs in the stadium take dumps in Lo Duca's locker.

The Phillies and Mets played 10 innings and are finished.  The Yanks and Sawks started at the same time and are in the bottom of the 6th inning.  :-D

They're STILL in the bottom of the 6th.  6-2 Sawx, both Dice-K and Pettitte are out of the game.

Maybe that's why these two team have to pay their players so much... their salary per hour is probably the same as the Twins.

If only I could watch those Yankees & Red Sox on television.  That would be super!

1 game back in the wildcard standing for the queers.  Could be 1/2 game or a game and a half depending on what the Saint James Fathers do tonight.

Whoopie!

ESPN, Romey.  You can find it there is all its interminable glory!

Another pitching change for the Yankees.  STILL the bottom of the 6th.  :-D

I can't believe the Red Sox choked that game away.  I went to bed and it was 7-2.   I woke up a little while ago, turned on ESPN and sure enough they blew it.

:-D

Quote"It was a lot better than the games we had in Philly," Jimmy Rollins said. "The crowd showed up. Maybe we need a weekend in Philly so the kids don't have to worry about going to school the next day. But atmosphere helps a lot with your focus and being able to get up."

Yeah - that's why you gagged during those middle two games against the mighty Rockies.  It had nothing to do with you and your underachieving flag teammates not hitting or pitching worth a damn.  It's because those disloyal good-for-nothing fans didn't show up because their useless children had school the next day!

That explains everything that's happened these last six Septembers.

Attendance for the week:

Monday = 25,046
Tuesday = 25,263
Wednesday = 31,541
Thursday = 42,623

Weak comment.  Could be he didn't mean it the way it sounded, but it certainly did not sound good.

Here are the figures from the Mets series in August (capacity listed at 43,000 on ballparks.com):

Monday 8/27:  38,165
Tuesday 8/28:  40,508
Wedneday 8/29:  43,150
Thursday 8/30:  42,552

last night's attendance:  53,730 (capacity listed at 55,601)
It's too bad there's no support for this baseball team....
