i cant believe there isnt more hatred towards the phils here....i know its an eagles board but still...i dont go to them but how are other boards...specifically that flag phillies board people always reference here...cant recall the name of it...

I think we're all pretty pissed with the way they've been playing.....just as pissed as you.  You're just more pissed off with Manual than some of us.

I hate them. But slightly less than every other baseball team. And I'm not sure that's what you're looking for from anyone in order to comiserate...

im certainly not looking for you...as you hate baseball and could care less about the phillies...i guess when im ultra pissed i like to look for hatred in numbers...makes me feel better....but baseball probably isnt the right sport to find that

i'm pissed, but it still is only a week into it...then again, i only expect their wins to be in the mid-80s.  things are going according to plan

i wanna slash jimmys throat for that we are the team to beat shtein...not cause he said it cause i loved it at the time...but because he said it and not one player on the team stood up and followed it...they all laid down like dogs this week...1-5 makes me wanna murder someone...but more than that the players on the team dont seem to give a shtein...i guess they too are thinking its only a week into the year...meanwhile the mets and braves are disappointed in a 4-2 start...but its only a week into the year for them too

exactly...and thats why im so farging mad right now...i wanna break shtein up....im so sick and tired of being amped up for another phils season only to see another 3-10 start...farg that shtein...can we get more for once...

It doesn't help that the Braves and Mets each get Washington at home this week while we get the Mets and Astros.  Already 4 games out and could be 6 this time next week....

To be fair, Rollins has been putting his money where his mouth is:  .300 BA, over .450 OBP, 3HR, 6 RBI.

Unfortunately, the rest of the team isn't hopping that freight train.  The lack of testicular fortitide continues in the Philadelphia clubhouse.

Maybe J-Roll needs to take a page from IGY and start breaking stuff up.

This team was heartless and whiny under Bowa; it's simply heartless under Uncle Cholly.

It's looking like major moves have to be made, as this team is just not improving as-is.

Having a leadoff man who swings for the fences every time he bats doesn't really help. Not to mention the fact that their reigning MVP is so out of shape that it's even noticeable in the presence of other baseball players.
