Regardless, its the inconsistency that haunts them. Scoring 12 runs one night then 0 the next doesn't get it done in September.

They were down 6-0 before they knew what hit them in that 12-0 game. Pitching (again) didn't give them even a CHANCE to win.

They scored 9 runs on night one, and 12 2 days later. But they have no offense.

they will ultimately not make the playoffs becaue of bad pitching worse managing and dumber than rock players...but (and maybe it will be different this year) you watch down the stretch here how many games the offense comes up weak against pitchers like matt chico
