Let's just say you're no expert on the subject of keeping anything real.

If it's that hard for you to believe that a college student spends half his current life drunk, then you obviously forget what college life was like.

Gillick was just on Baseball This AM on XM with the excruciating Mark Patrick.  To summize: Every move the Phillies made leading up to the deadline was brilliant and more importantly every move they didn't make was even more brilliant.

His justification for not getting guys like Teixeira & Dotel is they don't need a first baseman and their bullpen is fine now that Myers & Gordon are back.

Amazingly, he said this without laughing.

Ha!  What did you score on that political idealogy quiz a while back, where 0 was ultimate left and 40 was ultimate right... 4?  Hillary's running as a ~15 but is actually much closer to a 10.  No one that has a chance is liberal enough for your extremism.

Dotel would have been nice. Teixeira would be nice too if he could play 3B (which I think he has a little experience in). I just don't know what it would have taken to get those players in Philly or if Philly even had anything the Royals and Rangers wanted.
