altho a good signing i dont really count runyan and players who took over spots for a 3-13 team...if you cant imporve a 3-13 team then you dont belong in the league...also an argument can be made that modrack made those early moves

anyway im more concerned over the moves from the last four five years after they became a superbowl contender...the lack of improvements to take the team to a championship level is disgraceful...the best move they made (TO) isnt even on the team anymore

I'd also say that Garcia was an extremely good move, although it is pretty tainted by the fact the they only gave him a one year deal. If they had a feeling he could come in and operate the offense in such a way, they should have gotten him a slightly longer contract.

It's not really fair to call the one-year contract "tainted".  The guy was coming off miserable seasons that saw him as a failure, and only a shell of what he used to be.  Almost all fans were calling the FO names for even signing the guy, thinking he could never fill in as a back-up.  Even when he came in for his first game, Eagles fans declared the season over and were calling for 1 or 2 wins, maybe if the Eagles got lucky bounces and such.  The fact that he turned into the savior of our miserable state was something no one could have predicted.

Had the office given him a 3 or 4 year deal when he was signed, we all would have been furious.
