I'm glad they signed Jaqua. He's a solid back-up rotation guy. As long as Kearse is here, your gonna need a quality back-up for when he goes limping off the field or for a real injury 

Oh and I will also be furious when I see where Stallworth goes. The talk that Lewis or Hood could go to the Gints is almost equally annoying/

prediction:  Juqua will play more downs in '07 than Kearse (and maybe more than Howard too).

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports talks between the Dallas Cowboys and free agent OT Leonard Davis (Cardinals) are heating up. Davis has not scheduled a trip because he is negotiating with at least three NFC East teams.

They're scared of Cole.

WIDE RECEIVER
Donté Stallworth is a free agent who is expected to draw a lot of interest. He won't be back with the Eagles. So the team turns to Reggie Brown to be more of a lead receiver throughout the season, and the Eagles think he is ready for that responsibility. Second-year men Hank Baskett and Jason Avant will have a chance for more playing time, along with veteran Greg Lewis. Youngsters Jeremy Bloom and Bill Sampy and Michael Gasperson  are next in line for competition.

Do the Eagles need another receiver? Can they replace Stallworth's speed? Do they feel they need to go out and get somebody to stretch defenses?

Well, the Eagles have said they would have been OK at wide receiver had they not traded for Stallworth last year. Maybe they feel that way again. Then again, maybe they have a plan to put in place between now and the end of the draft. Stay tuned.
