BTW, it would be absurd imo to let her on another mission even if she was somehow exonerated - at least based on the info presented.

Why is this surprising to anyone? A space shuttle is nothing more than a suped up trailer with wings and afterburners. Frankly, I'm surprised the white trash element hasn't reared it's head sooner.
