MIAMI - The Eagles will increase their ticket prices for the 2007 season, according to Leo Carlin, the team's director of ticket client services.

Prices for lower-level and some of the premium seats at Lincoln Financial Field will be raised from $80 to $90, with the exception of lower-level end zone seats, which will increase from $65 to $70. Upper-level seat prices will go from $65 to $70.

"Providing quality entertainment and a terrific game-day experience is our priority," Carlin said in a statement released by the Eagles. "Historically, about every two years we have adjusted our ticket prices to remain comparable to the league average for a team in our size market."

The Eagles said they figure to rank between sixth and 10th in the league in ticket prices when all the NFL teams finish adjusting their prices this winter. At the moment, the Washington taterskins, New York Giants, New England Patriots and Chicago Bears charge more than the Eagles do.

The same mathematician who figured that ranking is probably the same one who figures the waiting list number.

My tickets in 302 were $45 in 1999 (just looked at a ticket stub).  Now they're $70.

Delightful.
