QuotePHILADELPHIA - February 1, 2007 - The investigations swirling around two sons of Eagles head football coach Andy Reid are growing at this hour.

Earlier, Action News learned that a search of the vehicle driven by Britt Reid yielded a shotgun, along with so-called "cop killer" hollow point bullets, and suspected drugs.

A second gun was recovered from the 21-year-old Reid as police searched the family's Villanova home.

This all started after Britt Reid was allegedly involved in a road rage incident in West Conshohocken Tuesday morning.

Documents just obtained by Action News show police recovered a Remington police magnum shotgun, 45 caliber bullets, a plastic container with white powder, several baggies with white residue, and a pharmacy container holding a green, leafy substance.

Reid's oldest son , 24-year-old Garrett, was involved in a serious traffic accident later Tuesday afternoon. Plymouth Township police say they found drug paraphernalia in the SUV Garrett was driving when he ran a light at a high rate of speed and slammed into a car.

Reid and his wife did return to the family home in Villanova Wednesday, cutting a vacation short.

So far, no charges have been filed against either son. There is word that Andy Reid might issue a statement on the cases involving his sons later today.

All that's missing is the dead hooker & bloody chainsaw.

I love that Reid's kids are wild gun-toting, blow-snorting, farging brats while he insists on bringing in boring do-gooders to play football for this team. Loss of credibility? Complete.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

He'll probably bring in some quality, high-character children this summer.

QuotePHILADELPHIA - February 1, 2007 - Police documents paint an ugly picture of the Reid boys as drug-crazed, reckless drivers, armed and dangerous.

Investigators say one of them even admits he was high on heroin when he plowed into another car.

It was a grinding accident Tuesday afternoon on Germantown Pike. 23-year-old Garrett was behind the wheel of the black SUV.

Police say he was clocked at almost 20 miles over the speed limit. He was weaving in and out of traffic when an East Norriton patrol officer gave chase.

A short time later, police say Reid blew the red light in Plymouth Township and plowed into the Ford Taurus.

Police say they found needles and other drug paraphernalia in the jeep.

They say Reid was very calm, but couldn't follow simple instructions.

They say he later signed two statements admitting he had taken heroin.

Police say they also saw a gun under the front seat, which turned out to be a b-b gun, and they found ammo in the back.

Sources close to the investigation now say police did not arrest Reid at the scene for several reasons: Some of the drugs in the car were prescription drugs, others needed to undergo testing, and they recognized that gun as a b-b gun.

His younger brother was huddled with lawyers on Thursday. Only Action News was there when 21-year-old Britt Reid left his lawyer's office.

Five hours before his brother's accident, police say Britt was involved in a road rage incident in West Conshohocken.

The other driver claims Reid pointed a silver handgun at him and smiled before driving off.

Britt also showed up at the scene of his brother's accident five hours later driving a GMC Yukon.

Police searched the SUV and found a police magnum rifle with ammunition.

They also found suspected drugs. That includes 8 clear plastic bags with white powder residue, a clear container with white powder and a pill bottle with a green leafy substance.

Later, police searched Andy Reid's house in Villanova, where both of his older sons still live.

That's where police found a silver .45 handgun and boxes of hollow tipped cop killer bullets.

It matches the description of the gun that was allegedly used in the road rage incident.

Britt Reid's lawyer says he is cooperating with the police investigation.

No charges have been filed yet in either of the cases.

So far, there is silence coming from the Reid household. No comment from the coach or the Eagles organization.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
