Anyone who's ever planning on getting season tickets directly from the Eagles is out of luck.  I haven't heard of a single person who's been called from the waiting list and offered tickets at the standard rate.  Every package that goes out now   has the extra garbage thrown in.

It's amazing.  Those fargers really have zesty memories.  There were times during 1998 & 1999 that my brother couldn't give the tickets away and we ended up eating them and those tickets were excellent.

farging money-grubbing scum.

But I can party with the cheerleaders and Swoop for only $200 extra!

are the seats included in these "special packages" real seats....meaning not in suites or club areas...are they seats that people on the waiting list should have a chance at or are they super high priced seats that they cant sell on their own

They're seats people on the list should have a chance at, best I can discern.

The funny thing is I remember when they sold the SBL's Banner insisted that none would ever be needed to be sold again.

Now you know why.  Who needs SBL revenue when you can just charge $285 for a $75 ticket?

PoopyfaceMcGee

The prices are absolutely outlandish.

And, of course, when I asked the nice lady on the phone where I was in line, she didn't have that information.

When do single game tickets go on sale?

PoopyfaceMcGee

precisely 3 1/2 minutes before they're sold out

Nobody wants to go to the Dolphins game though so I feel good about my chances for getting those

I just called the ticket office about prices for their "Red Zone" seat package, which includes:

  • Premium Season tickets in the first two rows in the north endzone
  • Access to an pre-game buffet in the Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park before every home game, featuring tailgate favorites and beverages (beer, wine, and soft drinks)
  • Access to the "Red Zone Lounge" at halftime of each home game
  • VIP pre-game sideline passes for two regular season games each season
  • A VIP tour of Lincoln Financial Field each contract year
  • An invitation to a VIP Training Camp luncheon
  • Eagles Red Zone baseball caps, exclusive for Red Zone Seatholders
  • The option to purchase choice seats to other great Lincoln Financial Field events

All this for the sum of $4250 per seat. I asked about single game seats & he said they should announce them for mid-June like last year.

Someone's gotta pay Kevin Curtis's signing bonus.

i dont have a big problem with that...they obviously from the jump off of the stadium planned on holding back the first two rows of the end zone for special package seats...i thought they were taking random seats that maybe season ticket holders didnt want anymore and instead of offering them to the waiting list they were keeping them and turning them into $4000 package seats

I got a call today offering me a "tailgate package" because I'm a *valued* member of the season ticket waiting list.

i left my cell phone at home today and just checked my messages and got the same call about "premium seats".  so i guess i shouldn't call them back?
