I couldn't find anything out about the Young kid, and what I fould out about Bishop isn't encouraging:

Quote
Desmond Bishop/MLB/California: Bishop did nothing to dispel the belief that he is just a two-down linebacker. After running a pair of slow 40s which averaged almost 4.8-seconds, Bishop looked stiff and struggled to move in anything other than a straight line.

Trotter Jr.

So let me get this straight.

This guy already has a rep for being a LB who can't cover for shtein.  Then this guy works out and only solidifies that rep.  Now the Eagles want to take a look at him.  Even though it's early... it's only a matter of what number the guy will wear.

BRILLIANT!!

After looking at our draft last year with only one solid contributor, Gaither, I was furious.  Really hits you when you see it right in front of you in print (Sporting News Draft Guide 2006 Report Card).  Bunkley, Gocong, Bloom, Justice, etc.  F a duck.  I thought we finally had some winners but ...............................

Grade?  More like "Please see me after class".

you really can't tell though...Justice was never in the plans for last year.  you have to wait 3 years before you can really tell what type of draft class it was.  you would've liked to get more from Bunkley, sure but it's still too early to condemn the entire draft class

Agreed.  There are plenty of Eagles draft classes that it's NOT too early to condemn.

2003 - complete washout except for L.J., who probably is about to play his last year as an Eagle
2004 - Andrews is quickly becoming the best OL from the draft, Tapeh is a "starter", otherwise... WOWEE WOW

Yeah, all in all... not very fruitful drafts.

Brian Leonard would be a sweet pickup.  Not first round sweet, but I'd think about it seriously in the second.

Yup.

well everyone was praising the FO last yr for the top 2 picks and how we were lucky to get essentially two players projected to go early in the 1st round. justice we will have to wait and see and although bunkley did nothing i will have to wait this season for him to do nothing b4 i brand him a bust.

Ben Patrick is a beast.   :yay

Good, because they're going to have to draft someone to back up Schobel in 2008.
