MJG should have been in the game instead of Young. That is if he played at all this year as opposed to the redshirt was given. farg you andy.

^^^^^
yes

the guy was not some 7th round project...he was rated as one of the best OG in the draft

i wont fully blame andy for not putting him in there because im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he put the best player in the game and that was young

however that brings up the issue of why was young better than jg because he shouldnt have been

Young probably had a better understanding of the offensive playcalls and better conditioning.  Jean-Gilles probably had to get in shape both mentally and physically.  But that's why I say that he should be ready to go next year.  The Eagles didn't move up on the 2nd day to have him ride the pine forever, but they probably knew he wouldn't contribute as a rookie.

The starters on the line should all be back next year.  Nick Cole has been a nice surprise and will probably still be around to be the backup center.  Justice should be the first OT off the bench, and Jean-Gilles should be the first OG.  Guys like Pat McCoy and Scott Young can battle it out for extra spots.

They traded away their 4th round pick for Stallworth.  Frankly, if the picture doesn't change significantly due to offseason events, I would be downright pissed if they take an offensive lineman before the end of the 5th round, and even that's early.  If they want to add a few young guys to challenge, do it via UDFA's.

I want Brian Leonard a lot too, but what round is he supposed to be selected in? We have too mant defensive needs to take him in the first or second round.

and depending on if Stallworth comes back we may have a huge hole at receiver to fill as well.

2nd Round. But he wont last until the 60th pick, or whatever it is we have. If he is there at 60, Andy better swoop him up with the quickness.

He's one of the most fundamentally sound players I have ever watched. His blocking is incredible and personally, I think Ray Rice is gonna struggle a lot more than people expect next year once Leonard is in the league. If used properly, his place in this offense would be just as, if not more important than any offensive player on the field - with the exception of 5. 3rd and 1? Give it to Leonard. 2nd and 3? Give it to Leonard. Throwing a screen? Watch Leonard block. LB coming off  the edge? Watch him block some more.

This is not your average fullback, people. He can run the ball 10-12 times a game, giving Westbrook the rest he needs to stay healthy for a whole season.

Alstott was taken in the 2nd round...Was he worth it? Absolutely. Leonard will be better.

Please Andy, please, please, please draft Leonard.

Is Michael Bush miraculously slips to the same area that Leonard does, who would you rather have?

Leonard. Bush is a RB. And he's coming off a major injury.

And before anyone gives me shtein for being a bias Rutgers grad, I'll say this - I hated the LJ pick. I wanted Jason Witten. And to this day, I still wish we had taken Witten. Even if he is a stupid ass farging Cowboy.

Draft Leonard.

I know Bush is a RB, but most people including me think we need a change of pace back for the offense. One better than Buck. I think Bush being a top 15 pick if he didn't break his leg would be a steal in the second round. I don't think it is as big of a risk as long as there wasn't ligament damage.

But Leonard is that whole package. Not a bad receiver out of the backfield either from what I saw of him during the season.

1st (26)
2nd (57)
3rd (90)
4th (121)
5th (152)
6th (186)
7th (217)

Of ocurse they'll either lose 90 or 121 depending on what happens with Stallworth.

1 in each round... and they'll lose either the 3rd or 4th depending on Stallworth.
