Scott Olson smokes over a half a pack a day.  I really wish I would have stuck with baseball longer.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Ahem. It's the lazy "Mexicans". Dominicans are filthy.

My bad, Senor Lazy. If they don't beat Australia, they'll be out too.  That Dominican team had 4 or 5 Mets/ex-Mets and couldn't get out of the first round...ha.  At least the Mets still have 6 more on the Puerto Rico team and K-Rod closing for Venezuela...

BigEd76

USA down 5-3 vs K-Rod, had Rollins at 2nd, Jeter at 1st w/ 1 out

Jeter gets caught stealing, then Youkilis strikes out.  Weak.

Both teams move on to the next round, but USA gets Puerto Rico in their first game instead of the Netherlands.

lol easy

SUCCEED AT ALL TIMES IN A SPORT OF RANDOMNESS OR ELSE I WILL BE DISAPPOINTED

QuoteThe longer Julian Tavarez thought about the Nationals, they better they looked. The team first contacted Tavarez in November, inviting him to spring training on a non-guaranteed minor league contract. Tavarez said no. He kept waiting. He played earlier this month for the Dominican WBC team, throwing 1 1/3 innings. But with spring training just around the corner, Tavarez was still very much unemployed. The Nationals called again, offering the same deal. "Why did I sign with the Nationals?" Tavarez said on Sunday. "When you go to a club at 4 in the morning, and you're just waiting, waiting, a 600-pounder looks like J-Lo. And to me this is Jennifer Lopez right here. It's 4 in the morning. Too much to drink. So, Nationals: Jennifer Lopez to me."

Bottom of the ninth, one out. USA down by 2 to Puerto Rico. Bases loaded. Juiced-up Romero on the mound.

QB Eagles

PR put Cabrera in there to pitch against Youkilis.

Sweet.. the USA is through to the semi-finals. They'll play Venezuela to determine the seeding.
