Eagles vs. Saints Game Thread

AR has won more games than any NFL coach since he's been here, other than Belichick. BB stands alone. AR makes mistakes, as does everybody. He makes far, far, far fewer than any other coach, though, other than BB. So, I find his strategy to be a successful one. To say the Eagles lost because they punted on fourth and 15 is just plain wrong.

I'm no PR guy for Spads but let's be real here. The WIP morning show feeds off negativity. That is what drives their ratings. They want the misery of the Philadelphia fan. They have a mob mentality there and it grows and grows and grows. So what if Spads told them to get over it? (According to him he was talking to Angelo & Rhea) They do need to get over it. Just like we will eventually.

And hell yeah this loss stings. They should have won.

Probably because he has no beef with Al or Keith and Rhea deserved to be called on it. Should he have done it on air? Yeah but it would have been dumped anyways. She was screaming this morning. She overreacted and she takes shot at Dave all time on air not in the person of him.

Like I said - I just don't get why such hate gets spewed by that show. I used to like listening but I can't do it anymore. Maybe for 15-20 minutes at a time if I'm on the way home, but not like I used to. Their irrational logic applied many times drives me nuts. Its almost like they disregard fact and harp on the negative to stir up the mob mentality.

You can be disappointed and not be pleased with the outcome, playcalling or whatever without being totally over the top ignorant about it. That is something Rhea and Cataldi don't get.

and in general they havent said anything on that show that every other eagle fan has been saying about the game...spads is trying to defend the indefensable and hes losing his cool doing it because he doesnt have any legs to stand on so its frustrating him...which is fine but theres no excuse for to have come at the fans and specifically rhea like he did...makes him look very small

I just like seeing her get called on it. They rip people on there all day long. So she called called a bitch. Big deal. It's just like when some fans talk tough and then get thin skinned when someone throws it back in their faces. My boy is like that. on air...all four of the wip heads (even hockey guy keith jones was piping in) were questioning spads on the game and he had no real answers...he got frustrated and blurted out to just let it go (as if it happened two years ago) youre being negatibe boo hoo mommy help me!...

it was funny how much he lost control....he really needed to come on the air better prepared with some sort of defense above and beyond "let it go"...then again in defense of the poor little fellow there really is nothign he could come up with...i suppose you gotta give him some sort of credit for even showing up to take questions...but at the same time you cant lose your composure like that and immediately after an on air intwerview run to your computer and start calling people names on a cheesy blog...when youre supposedly a professional writer and more importantly a representative of the eagles organization thats just not acceptable...i mean this is us on CF
