Stevens was charged with drunk driving in Seattle in the Seattle area in 2003 after police found two half-empty champagne bottles on the floor of his vehicle during a traffic stop.

In 2001, while playing at the University of Washington, Stevens was charged with hit-and-run after he crashed his car into a Seattle retirement home.

In 2000, he was accused of drugging and raping a 19-year-old girl at the university. The charges were dropped.

Stevens' other past run-ins with police include a 1998 incident in which he broke a man's jaw with a baseball bat.

NFL's Porter accused of punching rival at Palms

A National Football League player was cited for misdemeanor battery after he punched a league rival in the face Sunday night at a gaming table in the Palms, Las Vegas police said.

Linebacker Joey Porter, a longtime Pittsburgh Steeler who signed a five-year, $32 million deal with the Miami Dolphins this month, was cited for the brief fight he had with Levi Jones, an offensive tackle with the Cincinnati Bengals, in the casino about 6:55 p.m., Las Vegas police Lt. Kevin McMahill said.

"Apparently these two have a history with each other, a history of trash talking on the field," McMahill said.

Jones was treated by medical personnel at the scene, McMahill said.

A fist fight between two NFL players broke out in the Palms casino on Sunday night, sources said. Joey Porter, an All-Pro linebacker who recently left the Pittsburgh Steelers to join the Miami Dolphins, brawled with Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Levi Jones, at about 6 p.m. at a blackjack table in the casino.

Jones, who suffered scratches, told Las Vegas police he would be filing charges against Porter. Sources said there has been bad blood between the two.

A redacted report on the incident Sunday night in Las Vegas regarding an attack on Bengals left tackle Levi Jones was completed late Friday and sent to the district attorney's office.

The report said Jones was gambling at a table at the Palms casino when approached by former Steelers linebacker Joey Porter, an on-field rival, Las Vegas Police told The Enquirer.

Video of the incident shows that Porter, now with the Miami Dolphins, struck Jones first above the eye with a closed fist. Several unidentified men then joined in and punched Jones.

The incident was witnessed by a friend of Jones'. The friend was gambling with Jones.

Porter was charged with misdemeanor battery and released.

How dumb do you have to be to attack someone in a casino...at a table?  You think cameras aren't running?
