CNN is reporting that an attack such as the one that killed Stevens, with rocket-launched grenades, would have required pre-planning and likely is the work of Al Qaeda in North Africa. That group swore revenge for the June killing of a senior leader of the terror group Abu Yahya al-Libi and has struck in Benghazi before

"According to our sources, the attack was the work of roughly 20 militants, prepared for a military assault; it is rare that an RPG7 is present at a peaceful protest," Noman Benotman, once a leading member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group and now based at the Quilliam Foundation in London told CNN.

"According to our sources, the attack against the consulate had two waves. The first attack led to U.S. officials being evacuated from the consulate by Libyan security forces, only for the second wave to be launched against U.S. officials after they were kept in a secure location."

That analysis is supported by U.S. sources who say the attack on the consulate is believed to have been pre-planned. The sources say the attackers used the protest as a diversion to launch the attack, although the sources could not say if the attackers instigated the protest or merely took advantage of it

My assessment of Libya is based on intelligent officers who criticized intervention in Libya.   The Muslim Brotherhood has full control of Egypt?

Obama's role in Egypt and Libya are foreign policy disasters.  What GOP foreign policy experts?  DO you just make shtein up?  The only criticism from the right that I saw were the ones who said the media would just jump on Romney to deflect.  Kerry tried to politicize the deaths of troops who died on whatever particular day he was stomping.  Obama then used this incident to criticize Romney as trigger happy.  Obama has politicized the issue as well?

Still not answering, I see. It is a story because the guy who wants to be our farging president decides to politicize something like this rather than shut the farg up. There is a time and a place and this morning, after people in an American consulate were killed, was not the time nor the place to try to blast the president for his own farging political gains.

I don't talk politics much and Obama has his faults (I think all politicians are full of shtein) but for Romney to say that was ridiculous.
