As rjs mentioned, the Bin Laden clan is vast.  Many of them are sane, and some actually volunteered to give DNA samples long ago.  So yes, they've got a bank of samples against which to compare DNA taken from his corpse.

I don't know if people are just dumb or ignorant but he's dead. If he wasn't dead he could simply release another video saying so. And I had an argument with a conspiracy theorist relative of mine who thinks they're faking the whole thing. So I asked her do you really think the US has the capability of faking a helicopter crash in Pakistan, fake sending 25 Seals in to kill the guy, then having an entire crew of 5,000 on an Air Craft Carrier go along with seeing a dead Bin Laden? Even if a majority of the crew didn't know he was onboard they'd have to get the Captain and upper chain of command to take part in the lie.

can you imagine a bigger recruiting tool than for bin laden to show that he escaped a navy seal attack which is how he would spin it.....or at the very least expose the US as pathetic liars
