So it looks like this gov't shutdown is pretty much a done deal eventhough they have until tomorrow to unfarg themselves.  And the Tea Party (you know, the ones who are so "pro military") are pounding on their chests saying "Bring on the shutdown."  Good job guys.   

This shouldn't impact me too hard as long as they resolve it fairly quickly......by the end of the month.  I can afford to miss a paycheck or 2, but that's about it.  Unfortunately, I'd say that close to 70% of the military lives paycheck to paycheck.  Stupid fargers are gonna be hurting. 

But I'm mostly worried about Havas' rich ass.  How you making out, pal?

I'm seriously starting to worry about this country. 

It's all well & good running for office on a platform of reducing the size of government, but when you actually start screwing with a man's ability to keep a roof over his family's head, it's turns real ugly real fast.

I just hope the iceholes who keep insisting they're going to slash budgets understand the harm they're going to inflict on people who are fairly desperate to begin with.

A 2 year federal pay freeze isn't enough, these iceholes want 5 years? Guess that doesn't include their farging salaries. God I hate Republicans. Let's give the rich another 10% tax cut while we're at it.

The county govt. workers where I work haven't gotten a raise in 4 years.  Not even a COLA bump.

Meanwhile the iceholes who come into our office complaining about "nothing being done" about their problems insist on having their taxes cut further.  When you try to explain to someone that a bare bones staff of eight people per office is required and we're down to six, and as such, we don't have enough time to get to their issues immediately, all they say is, you're lucky to have a job.

Yes, I know I'm fortunate to be working in a bad economy.  And you're lucky I'm as patient & tolerant as I am, or you'd be looking at $30,000 in restorative dental work right now.

(Note - I actually came this >.< close to saying that to someone today.  Just the most repulsively rude & arrogant son of a bitch I've ever come across.  Thankfully my boss heard this clown's rant & rode in for the rescue.  Otherwise I'd probably be unemployed right now or wearing an orange jumpsuit eating bologna & cheese sammies for a stretch.)
