the pubs really are by and large despicable...i dont understand how anyone can be a member of that party at this point...not so much backwoods ma necks cause they dont know better....but i see people in dc all the time...young educated seemingly normal everyday people who are blood thirsty pubs.....i just dont and never will get it

i have to admit i agree with igy here.  the gop represents everything i detest about this country at this point.  i'm sure there are some good politicians and some worthwhile policy views but all of them are being shouted down by the religious loons in the party and that's just a shame.

The party is shtein.  It has no viable platform or candidates.  I am a registered "UNAFFILIATED" because I disagree with nearly everything they've tried to do and the way they've been going about it.

I hope that there is eventually a move toward a more Libertarian platform, but that would make the MA bible-thumpers and rah rah brown person bombers mad.  So, we have the party I nearly always disagree with (Demos) and the party I hate even more (Repubs).  AMERICA, farg yeah!

I actually couldn't tell you anything about her literary themes outside of the fact that Libertarians love her and that she was a 'rationalist' or something. I simply tried and failed to read both Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. Hated her writing style.

Might give them another try when I feel like a challenge.
