the only real threat to this country is it's own people.  we will never fail on the battlefield and we will never be overthrown by another nation.  terrorist acts are just that.....acts of terror, not dominance.  but we will eventually become victims of our own success and we will slowly rot away from the inside out.  it's already begun and perhaps we can make changes to prolong the process but it's doubtful that it could ever be stopped.  empires rise and fall.  the us is no different.
