Edwards can't dream of being half as crafty as Clinton, clearly.

Such an endorsement would certainly be game over for McCain.  Interesting response from Powell:
QuoteABC News' Teddy Davis and David Chalian Report: Gen. Colin Powell told ABC News on Wednesday that he will not be going to the Democratic National Convention, disputing a suggestion made earlier in the day on the Fox News Channel by Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol.

"I do not have time to waste on Bill Kristol's musings," Powell told ABC News. "I am not going to the convention. I have made this clear."

After telling ABC News by phone that he would not be going to the Democratic National Convention, Powell ended the conversation without entertaining any follow-up questions as to whether he would be crossing party lines to endorse Obama.

In other news, McCain stands firm on his position against Russia:
Quote"...in the 21st century nations don't invade other nations."

An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Sounds like Joe Lieberman was on board, but not McCain...

QuoteCampaigning for Republican John McCain in York, Pa., on Tuesday, Lieberman appeared to question Obama's patriotism when he called the election a choice "between one candidate, John McCain, who has always put his country first, worked across party lines to get things done, and one candidate that has not."

In what most people think is a symbolic gesture, Hillary's name WILL be put in nomination at the DNC.

Beware, Dems.

It is also apparent that Clinton is not being seriously considered as a running mate for Obama.

The deal to allow Clinton to be nominated is meant to help mollify those hurt feelings.

I wasn't talking about her being VP.  She really has no interest in that.  I just wouldn't put it past the Clintons to try to hijack the nomination somehow.

Phanatic

Just picked it out of the article. It's all part of the hijack. What are the chances that Obama's VP choice gets booed by all the Clinton supporters on hand because they don't have a vagina?
