Huckabee vs. Obama would be a great campaign and would see the country elect its first black-skinned President. As IGY said, Bill Clinton's blacker than Obama.

But Huckabee and Obama will not be their parties' respective nominees. Maybe one, but not both. Book it.

The thing that gets me is that true Christian values are kind of liberal in some respects. Anti death penalty because everyone should be saved and love all God's creatures and all that. Huckabee may fit that mold in some ways based on his governership.

I heard a report stating that if both parties elect extremes like Obama and Huckabee Bloomberg will enter the race as an independant because he has a good chance to win in the middle.

I was hoping McCain does well. I don't agree with him on a lot of things but he's genuine to me for some reason.

The funny thing is, Phanatic, is that McCain stikes me as one of the least genuine. I could easily be wrong about that, but he's just whored himself since 2000 for the Presidency as some kind of maverick politician, but seems to fall in line when it doesn't suit his interests to be a true maverck.

Maybe his schtick has gone on so long that I've just grown tired of him.
