Even I am getting tired of the public desire to lynch someone who says something the least bit off color.  I don't really care about what Biden says here, or what Watson said the other day.  Lots of bullshtein about nothing.

Biden's mouth has a tendency to get him into trouble, but face it, he's right. Inner city school scores will always be lower then suburban scores because of the socio-economic circumstances, and yes, face it, because there are more troubled african american and Dominican (and hey, even some white)youths in the cities that don't really care as much about school work or their learnings due to the way they're brought up and the conditions they're brought up in. Not to mention they're also usually deprived of the same quality of education that suburban kids get due to lack of quality teachers and supplies.

Just because Biden doesn't tippy-toe around the fact that blacks do worse in school then whites at the moment doesn't mean he shouldn't be president. As a foreign relations guy, he's WAY more qualified and WAY more needed in the presidency then any of the other Dems.

Almost three-fourths of Marylanders would prefer that convicted murderers get life in prison rather than the death penalty, and nearly seven in 10 support allowing gay and lesbian couples to form civil unions, according to a new Washington Post poll.

The findings place Maryland far to the left of the country as a whole on two social issues likely to be heavily debated when the General Assembly reconvenes in January for its annual 90-day session.
