John Edwards' wife is no longer in remission

I'm not sure what ramifications, if any, this will have on the Democratic nomination.

Diomedes

Well, if he continues the campaign it makes him look like a heartless bastich.  Which means he loses votes.  Which means he loses.

So I'd say no, it won't change things at all.

I've decided that I'm pulling for a Kucinich/Obama or Edwards/Kucinich ticket. Which means that I'm going to end up angry.

Well, you're in luck... the Republicans will probably put someone like Mickey on their ticket against Hillary - possibly Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani.  Awesome stuff.

The worst part is he'll improve their middle relief and be better-liked than most of the other pitchers.

News on another possible candidate:

Fred Thompson says he has cancer

Abstract:  Thompson has been battling non-Hodgkins lymphoma for about two years, it's in remission, and it should not be a factor in his decision whether or not to run for President.

John Kerry says Imus shouldn't have been fired

It is barely newsworthy, but still worth noting that John Kerry's not a politically-correct Hoyda like all the other candidates jumping in line to take swings at Don Imus.
