The problem is the Dems have all the best ideas here (including this one, def being a left wing idea) but are soooo bad at messaging and controlling the narrative on it.

They go on TV and give interviews and post on twitter but don't have 50 different social media accounts blasting out their proposals in a coordinated effort the way Trump does right now. Booker was on CNN earlier explaining his idea. Warren and Markey were basically pressing for the ceasing of evictions last week and now Trump is gonna try and claim credit for it, etc.
