I saw some yahoo saying how he used to recite the anthem before each school day...too stupid to realize that was the pledge of allegiance they were reciting.

This thing has been a complete and utter mess. The hypocrisy of the morons being against the protest or saying "but they should pick a different venue" is amazing. They talk out of the other side of their mouth and say they are ok with protesting but it needs to be done "right". Oh. Ok.

Or they bring up the "but they can be helpful in the community!" And another favorite is the mouth breathers who seem to think that because they're millionaires their rights are somehow diminished because they make bank.

my fb feed is filled with racism wrapped in an american flag.  this one stood out:

I will explain respectfully and without getting personal. First,  they are employees, they sign a code of conduct, just like our children do in school. If you don't follow the rules you deserve a punishment. Second, why do these multi-millionaire babies only care about their oppression during football season. After the season is over, they go back to their mansions and don't contribute anything to society. At least the majority don't. Third, how are they being oppressed???? They make up 13% of our country, but commit over 50% of violent crimes. They have the lowest graduation level since before the 1960's, they are rarely raised by two parents. How does that make them an oppressed people???? Those are all choices. Lastly, I wore a different uniform, I wore one during Desert Storm, where being shot at by a twelve year old boy, was my everyday reality. I have four herniated discs in my back, two knees that need to be replaced, Tbi and PTSD. But, I stand and salute our our flag, because a lot of my brothers and sisters came home wrapped in the very flag that is being disrespected, We stand for those who can no longer stand for themselves.

folks are "liking" the hell out of posts like these.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

Too bad the 12 year old boy wasn't a better shot.

Yeah shtein like that enrages me. There are a ton of vets who are on the opposite side. Idiots like the one who posted that are not even in the same zip code with why players took the knee. You're right - it is American flag wrapped racism. Education rates? Rarely raised by two parents? And it reeks of jealousy with the mention of mansions and money.

Verrrrrrry rarely will I engage with someone like that and throw up money. The other day I had a live on on the hook and they dropped how I was a "libtard yankee who wants everything free from the government"

So I told them what I make a year and how I am ok with paying for programs to help those in need - particularly the iceholes who voted for Trump but yet suck on the welfare teat of the government. They like to bring up welfare and shtein but they're on it too! I told the person that I guessed they were ok with welfare but only if it was for white people. They didn't appreciate that and I got the whole libtard and snowflake rant and that I needed to move to back home.

Some of the biggest football fans I know, I'm talking guys whose life philosophies are based off football and were HS stars and played on D1/D2 teams are standing with Trump and boycotting the NFL. They're listing NFL sponsors and trying to get people to boycott them as well. Somewhere along the line Soros is responsible too.

Donte Stallworth is speaking on CNN with Wolf in a bit.

I saw way too many awful hot takes on facebook over the last couple days, so I decided to post today. Can't take the ignorance of people.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

ice grillin you

if people would listen to others and think about other peoples lives and culture one tenth as much as they pretend to care about a stupid song wed be a much better country

also all the oceans of the world couldnt hold the amount of irony in someone touting how great the country is and at the same time getting pissed off at people practicing freedom of speech not to mention supporting trump who called for people to lose their livelihoods because they express their right to free speech...thats as un american as you can get

the best part of yesterday was seeing people in our country freely express themselves....and that goes from the kneeling player to derek wolfe to villaneuva

they need to take all the angry white people in this country put em in a blender and feed the homeless

Agree with this.

I'm also hoping they all boycot the NFL.  Makes me feel better that I'm not stuck around mouthbreathers at the game if they all boycott.

this privilege bullshtein drives me nuts....its nothing but a dog whistle to racists who think uppity stillupfronts who hate america should just be grateful that these rich white guys are even letting them play...

do people not realize how farging hard it is to make it to the nfl....the amount of blood sweat and tears all players have put in their entire lives to make it there...the players ARE the league they arent just in the league
