this just isnt true....there are a ton of house members who got elected on repealing obamacare...who have been basing their whole political existence on getting rid of it....a lot of these guys are up for election in the next two years and need to go back to their districts and say they had a plan and voted for it but the senate blocked them

same with trump...shtein spicer was at the podium yesterday listing all trumps "accomplishments" and the promises hes kept from the trail and number one on the list was that he would put forth a plan to repeal obamacare

i agree that if it doesnt get done the left is going to say another promise unkept and i thought he was a deal maker etc... and they wont be wrong but that doesnt matter to trump and a lot of pubs especially in the house they need to say they tried their hardest and an actual vote even a meaningless one will look like a promise kept to their dumb ass constituents...optics are huge especially to the uneducated....i mean christ most trump supporters and right wingers believe obama is from kenya...you dont think if their actual representative makes a vote on this garbage that they will see it as a great thing and he tried his best but the swamp in DC took him under
