I, for one, find the majority of people on :CF to be very accepting of others' opinions in general.

Obama has it in the bag, by the way.

McCain speaking at an ACORN rally

Got to love the double standard

I can't wait till McCain brings up Ayers tonight.

Magical_Retard

excellent article in the wall street journal about ayers:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122402888900234543.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

i dont get this one bit. why dont more ppl come out and actually talk about what ayers did, what he has done since, and why he was awarded citizen of the year for chicago? is the chicago in favor terrorists? are the republicans who worked with terrorists? are the students he teaches or the university where he teaches terrorists?

even the obama campaign repeats the same answer over and over, which i guess is working but i would like for them to go deeper and explore the republican/conservatives who have worked with the guy.

the double standards are astounding. palin's husband was part of a organization that wants to be its own country. she abused her power. we know her for only 8 weeks. yet its obama who is friends with a terrorist, who we really dont know, and someone who does not see america the way americans see it.

i will say this though watching FOX news on election day will be awesome. all the bitter tears from hannity...who i bet will be still shouting "ACORN TERRORIST ACORN TERRORIST!"
Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

phattymatty

why are these debates always at the same time as phillies playoff games?  i'll just watch a rerun of the last debate and pretend i watched tonight.

For the most part, I whole-heartedly agree.  There are a couple on here that insist on calling anyone supporting M&P ridiculous, dumb, ignorant, and moronic.  But they tend to get washed out by the others that will at least respond better than name calling.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Extremists on both sides tend to scream so loud for so long that their noise just fades into the background and is completely ineffective.

Fair point.  I forgot the couple of extreme-right noise makes on here.

i just cant see why you'd look at that ticket, then again, this entire election i've realized how far the right has gone, i dont identify with the far left in the least bit.  The Christian right scares me, and this is from someone who spent 13 years in Catholic School.  McCain has run a dirty campaign, sold out, and i've lost all respect for him.

I just find it hilarious how much racism is playing a role now that we're getting closer, just look at those speaking at the McCain Rallys, its scary.

I don't support McCain for a lot of reasons, but his picking Sarah Palin as a running mate clinched it 100% for me.  It might be the worst political decision of the past 50 years, and if he's making such collossally poor decisions now, before he gets to the White House, I shudder to think how lousy his decision-making will be if he gets there.

Oh, and you're obviously a Log Cabin Republican, so shut up.
