and she still got 3 million more votes than trump and lost the three swings states by a total of 35,000 votes that she refused to campaign in....its another example of why biden has to run not bernie....just be a regular moderate democrat and put forth a modicum of effort in those places...doesnt hurt that biden is from pennsy either...do not farging risk the future of the country by running a socialist that will keep a lot of those rust belt conservatives away or even towards trump because socialism scares the farg out of them

And the media folks trying to defend it right now (I've seen Veitor and Ezra Klein basically say it doesn't matter because Trump got a pass for being a brain dead idiot as well) are ignoring the fact that the media gives Trump a pass on this and, the current pass they're giving Biden on it, will immediately turn against him once he locks up the nomination.

Seriously y'all are fooling yourselves if you think nominating a moderate centrist isn't just as big a risk as nominating a progressive new dealer....especially when that moderate centrist is sundowning right in front of our eyes every day.

You know as well as anyone that this is gonna be on way more than just twitter (as you can see it's already begun on Fox)when we get to August onwards. Trump is going to bring it up a lot and then Serious Media Journalists are going to run stories and ask Dem surrogates about it and it'll probably even be asked in a debate as Jake Tapper furrows his brow and asks Joe if voters should be worried about anything having to do with his ability to carry out the duties of President and etc.

And that's not even touching out the right wing internet a social media brigade and the videos on Facebook going straight to boomers faces showing Biden can't talk with 3 million views and some doctor on foxnews claiming he has dementia spliced into the video and etc.

Again, you're crazy if you think Biden isn't just as big a risk as Bernie is, let alone risk free.

Just in case you think this will only be a social media problem with Biden getting dragged for being senile. Remember that the media has learned exactly zero from 2016 and will parrot whatever Trump says in the headlines and first parts of a story without criticism. And that's what voters will see.

Yep, and sadly there's no solution to it that i can think of. You can't nationalize the media obviously, it would be horrible state tv propo. And I'm unaware of any policy solution that isn't just bad overall
