I'd just read an approval rating poll where Hillary is going down and near an all time low, lowest since '15 iirc, despite remaining largely out of the public eye. She's at 39, two points below Trump. Biden is at an all time at 60, one point below Barry.

Also, it looks like this is out 30,000 post in this thread. We should all feel like a proud part of history.

I am enjoying the fact that fargo hasn't accomplished a thing. Obamacare and Iranian deal are still in place.

well waxed is probably too strong but he would have won...she only needed about 50k more votes total in wisky and pennsie....he probably would have gotten more than 50k more in each of those states...she didnt even campaign in wisconsin...and largely ignored pennsylvania

It's all speculation, but I disagree.  The African American vote, weak as it was for Clinton, would have been much weaker still for Sanders.  He would have garnered more youth than she did, and I'll call it a wash.

The thing is, Trump got people out to vote who weren't voters.  Trailer trash instead of ghetto trash, basically.  His voters represented new numbers in the mix that I don't think either Democrat could account for and surmount.

Now, maybe Bernie wouldn't have taken these spaces for granted and done better for making more effort than Clinton did, I don't know.

But I don't think Clinton was as terrible a candidate as you do, or that Bernie was as great as you do.

Bernie would have stolen a ton of the ABC people who held their nose while voting for trump....that alone would have gotten him over the top

I preferred HRC to Bernie.  I like Bernie more but I like Hillary's policies more and think she'd have been a better president.  That being said, I'd have happily voted for Bernie if he was the option.   I think HRC's popular vote numbers would've been similar to Bernie's but Bernie was much better positioned in the rust belt states.   He'd have lost NC and Florida by more but would have won WI, maybe PA, and Ohio would've been closer.

Yea forgot about Michigan.  Would've been interesting.  He beat her there in the primaries and would have taken a few of the trump voters
