Why does Texas, or any state, need a bill to preclude confiscation prior to a conviction? Without Due Process, it seems like such confiscations are not only premature, but also unconstitutional.

The first, and last, time I voted for President (1992)*, I was certain we lived in a plutocracy. Autocracies are way better because a appears far sooner in the alphabet than p.

I'm not nearly as sickened by Trump's disgusting Presidency as I am by Congress's lack of checking. And that is trumped by people defending him only because he's a republican. The majority's stubborn refusal to critically consume information is why I want to leave America.

This is how cons work and it's the reason that we're in very deep trouble moving forward. A con works because the people being conned trust their own judgment and will defend their decisions even in the face of overwhelming evidence that they've been conned. Trump has conned a big chunk of the country and now, in the face of overwhelming evidence, they're going to be forced to admit that they've been duped or dig in their heels and defend his dumbassery to the death.

Guess which one I'm banking on.

because of social media and the internet at large a lot of political newbies
people who arent really into politics and dont hold any kind of strong belief values politics is like sports to them
and trump voters are like the biggest homers ever
no matter how much their team sucks they will still defend them to the death and talk shtein even when they lose by four touchdowns

dont get me wrong theres people like this on both sides...but trumpians are way more heavily invested in their guy than anything ive ever seen in the game...also they are the least educated voters ever
