Sarah Palin addressed the "elephant in the room" at a Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally for Donald Trump on Wednesday, linking her son Track's recent arrest on domestic violence charges to President Barack Obama's neglect of veterans.

"I can talk personally about this. I guess it's kind of the elephant in the room — because my own family, going through what we're going through today with my son, a combat vet having served in a Stryker brigade fighting for you all, America, in the war zone. But my son, like so many others, they come back a bit different. They come back hardened," Palin said.
"They come back wondering if there is that respect for what their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military have given so sacrificially to this country, and that starts at the top," she continued, touting Trump as the best choice for president. "It's a shame that our military personnel even have to question, have to wonder if they're respected anymore. It starts from the top. The question, though, it comes from the top, the question, though, that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, 'Do you know what we go through? Do you know what we're trying to do to secure America and to secure the freedoms that have been bequeathed us?'"

"So when my own son is going through what he goes through coming back, I can certainly relate with other families who kind of feel these ramifications of PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with, and it makes me realize more than ever, it is now or never for the sake of America's finest that we'll have that commander in chief who will respect them and honor them," she said.

So your son returns from war and commits domestic violence....and your reaction is not to wonder about the wisdom of sending soldiers off to unnecessary wars, the burden doing so places on the VA, the lack of mental health benefits for not just soldiers but the general population too...but to insinuate the President doesn't "respect soldiers".

So dozens of homeless have camped out in front, on the sides and in back of the county administrative building in Daytona Beach.  I'm not sure if it's a political statement or if it's just a place they all ended up together, but the cops won't disperse them, the county won't monitor them or keep them in line, and a farging judge says no one has the right to move them off the property. 

Nevermind the "no loitering" signs or no trespassing ordinances.  Nope.  The judge says they have to be allowed to camp out, shtein and piss everywhere, start fights among themselves, pester citizens and employees, and generally run roughshod over anything and everything.

Actually, it wasn't.  It was for two of my female collegues who were accosted by those vermin, however.

So this happened again yesterday.  This time a police report was filed, and as a result, the entire office, part & parcel, has been shuttered.  We've all been re-assigned to other regional offices until a solution is reached by the city and county governments who've done absolutely nothing to solve it (other than to point fingers and blame each other, naturally). 

There are now over 100 permanent "residents" living in cots and tents on the sidewalks outside the building and more roaming the parking lots and camping out wherever they find space.

Absolutely unfargingbelievable.
