hes wrong to veto it but to be fair he supports making it a statewide ballot measure this year and if im not mistaken a mnajority of new jersey residents support gay marriage

its empty because like the last three years the right wing zealots will not allow him to accomplish a single thing in the speech...but dont doubt for a minute this is what barry truly believes and thats the main reason he is such a good speech giver....the best part of the speech by far was when he said if you douche bags try and block everything i do im am going to do everything in my power to get my shtein thru....ill believe it when i see it as hes basically been a Hoyda when its come to standing up to the right

Yes, it's populist rhetoric but it's exactly what this country and his base needed to hear from him.

Basically you have two choices: Obama and progress or Gingrich/Romney & regression back to the failed policies of Bush Lite.  It can't be any clearer than that, and although there are a large number of whiny bitch ass Democrats out there who are still pissed at him for being too centrist, even they have to get it now.

There will be two choices but it hardly matters who the POTUS is. While it's nice to hear him basically say Washington is broken, it's not like anything he said in his speech is going to happen.

these speeches are a big waste of time no matter who is giving them....however i agree the one big positive that it does for obama particularly in this election year is for over an hour it showed how presidential he is compared to the group of complete and utter clowns who will be supplying the candidate that will be running against him
